We’ve got some super exciting news as we enter the final stretch of Altered Alma’s Kickstarter campaign! Thanks to the campaign success so far, we managed to improve the Kickstarter rewards at no extra costs for you!

Authenticity and awesomeness: All physical editions (standard and all collectors, also early birds) will come with a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity, making your copy even more unique and exclusive.

Introducing the Ultimate Collector’s Edition: We’re upping the game with the new Ultimate Collector’s Edition! It includes everything from the Ultra Collector’s Edition, the new Jack x Red statue, and the chance to design a neon sign or graffiti with your name to be featured in the game. The streets can be yours!! This reward was previously called the Street Artist and it now includes the new 20cm statue.

We’re thrilled to reveal the next stretch goal that will enhance your journey through the neon-lit streets of Neo Barcelona. At €180k, we’ll be unlocking the Advanced Map + Photo Mode System, bringing a whole new level of exploration and immersion to Altered Alma!
We obviously have a map system in game (those of you that played the demo may have used it already), but with this stretch goal we can take the mapping features in the game to the next level, with more options and flexibility to explore every corner of the city.

🔍 Map Peek:
Have you ever wished you could check the map without pausing the action? Now you can! With the Map Peek feature, you’ll be able to overlay a transparent version of the map on your screen for a brief moment, allowing you to navigate and strategize without breaking the immersion. Perfect for those fast-paced chases or when you need to find the quickest escape route in a pinch.
🗺️ Mini-Map:
Get a clearer view of your surroundings with the Mini-Map! This new feature provides a quick and convenient way to keep track of your position and important locations without interrupting the flow of gameplay. Explore with confidence and never get lost in the maze-like districts of the city. You will be able to toggle on/off the mini-map at any moment.
📸 Photo Mode 📸
Alongside the Advanced Map, we will bring also we are bringing the Photo Mode to Altered Alma. We know you love the backgrounds, characters and surroundings, and you’d love to have them as wallpapers or to share those epic moments with your friends and followers.
Capture the breathtaking landscapes of Neo Barcelona or those intense battle moments in stunning detail. With the new Photo Mode, you can freeze time and find the perfect angle to immortalize your favorite scenes, and share your epic shots with the community!
Plus, these photos will be visible in the map in the location you took them, acting as smarter versions of the regular map markers.

We want to explain a bit more how we plan to make it work, take notes ✍️
As you explore the city of Neo Barcelona if you pay close attention you will find secret areas. Access them and find the collectibles scattered across the city. But wait, who is that mysterious figure that keeps showing up as if crossing from other dimensions when you reach these areas? The role of this mystery character will only be revealed in the alternate endings!
🖌️New Limited Reward tier: Street Artist!
We want to offer you yet another opportunity to leave your mark on the city (those on our Discord will get the pun 🤣). So, we have created a new reward tier at 350€ that includes everything in the Ultra Collectors Edition + a custom Neon Sign with a name of your choice implemented in game for everyone to see!

You all are amazing 💗, it was only a couple of days ago that we smashed our last stretch goal and here we are again with the Hard Mode and custom difficulty settings now confirmed for the final game!
So, what’s next? We have received a lot of comments and feedback about the next stretch goals you all would like to see. We also want to focus on stretch goals that bring meaningful additions to the game and expand it without losing sight of the core. A great metroidvania should have…

At 150.000€ we will add a secret side quest to unlock Alternate Endings. This will not only expand the gameplay by adding replayability, but also we will make this side quest part of the exploration through the city.
Explore the hidden areas of Neo-Barcelona, find all its secrets, and the way the game ends will be altered in meaningful ways. That image above is a sneak peek at what we have planned.
